The main trends in the development and application of modern methods, technologies and equipment for the performance of technical service (TS) of equipment of the machine and tractor fleet of agricultural producers are discussed. The research goal is to analyze the main directions in the implementation of the latest guidelines on the technology of technical service of agricultural machinery in the production activities. The research targets are the results of modern scientific and practical developments to create new and modernize the methods used and the technological operations of technical service of machinery and equipment used in the agricultural sector of the Russian economy. The research materials used are the articles published in recent years in scientific sources of various levels as well as data from production experience in the development and implementation of the latest organizational and technological measures in the implementation of technical service of agricultural machinery. The most practically significant changes in the organizational and technological components during the reorganization of the entire technical service system will be based on the development of intelligent, information technologies for diagnostics, maintenance, repair and logistics of the system including service enterprises and machinery consumers themselves. The use of additive technologies is also the basis for transformations in the repair of machine and tractor fleet of agricultural enterprises. The use of efficient nanomaterials in the implementation of technical service created on the basis of modern nanotechnology will ensure increasing reliability of agricultural machinery. The use of such innovative technologies as intelligent, information, 3D modeling and nanotechnology in technical service provides ample opportunities for the reconstruction of the entire technical service system, its technological and organizational components. In addition, the effective application of these innovations in the production activities of service enterprises depends on the level of qualifications of specialists in the field of technical service organization and technology.
