Author Guidelines

Author’s responsibilities and requirements to a manuscript are as follows:

  1. Articles must contain new, previously unpublished results of scientific research, theoretical, practical (innovative) developments, ready for use and being relevant (demanded) at the present stage of scientific development and correspond to one of the following headings: «Agronomy», «Veterinary and Animal Sciences», «Processes and Machinery of Agro-Engineering Systems».
  2. Manuscripts should normally be around 10 pages of A4 (transliteration, translation and information about the authors are not considered) for papers of problematic character and around 6 pages for communications on particular problems. Font is Times New Roman. Font size is 14, spacing is 1.5.
  3. The article must be submitted to the Editorial Board with the following materials:
  • The text of the article in Russian in paper and electronic versions that match each other. The paper version is printed on one side of a standard sheet of paper and must be signed by all authors on the last page. In the electronic version, the file name should contain the surname of the first author and the first three words of the title.
  • A cover letter on the letterhead of the corresponding institution with a recommendation for publication, if the submitted materials are the result of work performed in this organization.
  • An author's note expressing consent to the open publication of the article in a printed version of the Journal and its electronic copy on the Internet.
  • Consent to personal data processing.
  • Author's photo in JPEG format.
  1. The paper should include:

On the first page is indicated

  • the universal decimal code (UDC) – in the upper left corner;
  • the title of the article reflecting its content - in the center in Russian and English;
  • key words of the article (at least ten) - under the title of the article in Russian and English;
  • last name, first name, patronymic (full), academic degree, academic rank, position, name of the organization, office address, telephone number, e-mail of the authors (mandatory!). Information about the authors should be in Russian.

The article must be accompanied by an abstract of 200-250 words in Russian and English, which should include a concise and precise summary of the article according to its structure as well as concrete information (conclusions and recommendations). Translation of the abstract into English, made by computer programs, is not accepted. Abstract is not divided into paragraphs. Introductory words and turns of phrase in the text of the abstract are not used. Numerals, if they are not the first word, are transmitted by numbers.

The article presents the current state of the issue, a description of the research methodology and a discussion of the data obtained. The text of the article should be structured, using subheadings of the relevant sections: introduction, purpose and objectives, objects and methods, experimental part, results and their discussion, conclusion or conclusions; bibliography.

Literature references within the text as follows: [1, p.15; 2, p.45]. Bibliography entries are listed in the order the quotes appear in the text (one point – one entry). The same source in the bibliography is indicated in the text once, for repeated references the number used in the first time is given in the square brackets. The figures and photographs are provided in electronic form included in the text, in standard graphic formats with titles; tables and formulas are formatted in a Word text editor.

If you use acronyms (other than popular ones), please, give the full form in the main text or in the footnote.

All units of measurement in text and charts are presented in Si-system according to Metrology. Units of Management standard.

  1. The number of papers of the same author in a Journal issue should not exceed two, and the second article is allowed only in co-authorship.
  2. Articles received and accepted for publication are not returned.
  3. Publication of articles in the Journal is free, subject to a semi-annual subscription to the Journal. Postgraduate students are not charged for the publication of manuscripts in the Journal.
  4. The Editorial Board reserves the right not to register manuscripts that do not meet these requirements, as well as the right to reproduce the materials submitted by the authors (publication, duplication) without limiting the circulation of copies.
  5. All manuscripts submitted for publication in the Journal undergo the institute of peer review (expert evaluation) and information system check for unauthorized borrowings. Checking for unauthorized borrowings on a particular article is carried out no more than twice (taking into account the revision). The Editorial Board has the right to reduce the accepted works, notifying the authors, and to make editorial corrections of the text.
