Abstract

The research target was the issue of maintaining the working condition of complex design and expensive combines by improving the organization and technology of their technical operation (TO) processes. The research materials were the results of scientific and practical developments in the field of improving methods, forms, technologies and material base for the implementation of technical operation of self-propelled and pull-type combines in the agro-industrial complex. The research goal was to analyze the modern approaches, trends and new engineering and technical developments in the field of organization and technology of combine technical operation. Based on their purpose and the peculiarities of harvesting crops, combines in the process of technological operations of harvesting various crops should have high reliability indices, since the downtime of these machines due to malfunction is one of the main reasons for crop production losses. Ensuring a high level of efficiency of combines is one of the most important tasks of servicing enterprises. The analysis of modern scientific and practical approaches to the issue of technical operation of modern agricultural combines showed that the previously developed system of maintenance, repair and storage of these expensive and key machines used in the most important harvesting process, is being improved in such main areas how to maintain high values of reliability indices by improving maintenance and repair technologies, technologies of cleaning from contamination and protection from corrosion, and other destruction of parts and assemblies due to the development and application of new methods, means and materials during installation and storage of machines. One of the decisive factors for improving the efficiency of combine technical operation is the improvement of measures to organize warranty service by dealers and the maximum participation of specialized enterprises in the provision of services for high-quality maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery used by crop growers in the post-warranty period.
